Hi, friends! Just wanted to share with you that I am going to be lending a hand with the new Tennent blog, Light & Heat. I get to have a bit of an editorial role over there, which is so. much. fun. It’s like being on the high school paper all over again, only with seminary nerds. I’ll still be blogging here, but every other week there will be a new post on our Tennent page that I’m involved with. This week our first post goes live, an interview with Mark Hallock about “shepherd teachers.” Mark is one of our faculty members, and will be teaching homiletics and assorted applied theology topics. He’s a prolific author (and was featured on The Gospel Coalition this week, writing about shepherd-planters—church planting with a shepherd’s heart) and also the president of the Calvary Family of Churches.
Over the weeks to come, we’ll dig into all things Tennent—theology, history, biblical studies, retreat, friendship, family, missions. If any of that sounds interesting to you, check us out! Go to williamtennent.org and click over to the blog to subscribe.
